At last it is here and it is real. A Glock Beavertail!

This is the real deal from Glock. I hear it is shipping with new Gen 4 guns. I am not sure which ones. The one pictured is a 17. I hope I can get one for the 26 and someday the 19.

I never ran either of the back straps on my Glock, but to get the beavertail you must. The medium or large. So far I can feel how the magazine release is a bit farther to reach with my thumb. Time will tell if it is a trade off I am willing to live with.

I don’t feel like I had a perfect grip on the gun so maybe now with the beavertail I can fix that.
